Your Hundertserver mission:
As a DevOps Engineer at Hundertserver, you play a key role in building, operating, and continuously developing modern, scalable, and highly available IT platforms. You serve as the link between development, operations, and customer needs. With your expertise in automation, Kubernetes, cloud, and CI/CD, you help us implement tailored and efficient platform solutions for our clients – pragmatic, hands-on, and with real impact.
The Main Tasks:
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management & Automation
• Building, maintaining, and further developing hybrid infrastructures (cloud & on-prem)
• Automation using IaC tools such as Puppet, Ansible, Terraform
• Reducing manual processes through scripting & standardization
CI/CD & Deployment
• Building and operating robust CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Jenkins)
• Supporting development teams in build, test, and release processes
• Analyzing and resolving deployment issues
Cloud & Platform Operations
• Operating and optimizing Kubernetes environments (cloud & on-premise)
• Managing AWS / Azure / GCP instances
• Integrating and operating monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK)
• Implementing reliable backup & recovery processes
Security & Stability
• Implementing security standards (e.g., TLS, IAM, network security)
• Hardening systems & services, security monitoring & response planning
• Participating in internal audits & customer compliance requirements
Collaboration & Customer Focus
• Close collaboration with development, support, and platform teams
• Direct technical consulting for clients on platform-related topics
• Documentation & knowledge sharing both internally and externally
You fit to our team when:
Technical Profile
• Excellent Linux skills (Debian, Ubuntu, RHEL, Container-Optimized OS)
• Kubernetes & Docker – deep understanding of architecture, lifecycle, and security
• Infrastructure-as-Code – e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet
• Cloud expertise – AWS, Azure, or GCP (solid experience with at least one platform)
• Scripting & automation – Bash, Python, or Go
• CI/CD experience – GitOps, ArgoCD, Flux, Jenkins, GitLab CI
• Monitoring & logging – Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK
• Network knowledge – VPN, DNS, routing, TLS, load balancing
